EKISA UK CEILIDH a Great Success

On Saturday October 3rd All Saints Milton Church underwent preparations for a Harvest Celebration and Ekisa Ceilidh, a joint effort between ASM and Ekisa UK. From around 6 pm, 75 people joined in the Celebration by dancing to the music of the Ceilidh Band ‘Moon Carrot’. The atmosphere in the Church was very special with lots of animated dancers of all ages and abilities, exciting music and beautiful lighting. The Moon Carrot band and their Caller were absolutely brilliant.

There was a halfway pause in the evening for people to enjoy a tasty Harvest Supper prepared by Linda, Emily and Jill. A bar manned by Chris and Rob did very good business serving thirsty dancers!

Ekisa UK is very grateful to our Vicar, Alex and to the PCC for agreeing to let us use the Church for this very successful joint event, which raised £861 profit for the work of Ekisa in Uganda. A great big Thank You to all who attended and helped!
